Permit me to introduce you all to Austeen Anibe Otene (Ankpa, Olamaboro & Omala Constituency House of Reps Hopeful) :
Born on August 25th 1980, Austeen Anibe OTENE, hails from Ofudu-Imane in Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State. Happily married with 4 adorable kids.
He started his primary Education in Imane, Secondary in Ankpa and Tertiary in Ebonyi State.
Graduate in Qty Surveying. Certified Cisco Network Associate, Certified Project Manager, Certified OSHA, and Political Sc. in view.
Started his career with the United Nations Development Programme, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (M&E) where he served as a Project Officer. Later worked as a Network/VSAT engineer with an ISP company in Port-Harcourt.
Also worked as an IT manager until 2007 when he ventured into entrepreneurship providing Electronic security systems such as CCTV, Access Control Systems, Alarms, Networking, ICT solutions to IOC's, Travel Agencies and Schools etc with a vast coverage in Engineering designs, procurement, installation and commissioning.
Worked in as a Senior Telecoms Specialist on a gas pipeline project providing LSDS, SCADA, Telecoms, IT with supervisory role ranging from Engineering Designs to Installations and commissioning. Managed over 145 personnel and sub-contractors.
Human rights activists with CDHR (Committee for the Defence of Human Rights) who believes in equality, social justice and the rule of law for all regardless of their background.
As a core humanitarian, he has championed and provided education, medicals and welfare supports for the under-privileged both home and outside his tribe. He has also supported community projects in his community where he hails from and also where in currently lives in Port Harcourt - Nigeria.
Austeen Anibe Otene is an astute, pragmatic, dogged and modest gentleman. One of his greatest assets in life is making friends across every divide.
He is a peace maker, a sports lover who plays soccer, handball, Volleyball, Table-Tennis, Snooker and Basketball, a motivational speaker, a problem solver and a goal getter.
